Gilbert "Slim" / "Andy" Anderson Robinson

Mr. Gilbert “Slim” “Andy” Anderson Robinson, 91, of Oak Ridge, passed away on June 11, 2025.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Roy Carter officiating. The burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home prior to the service.

Slim was born in Yancey County, NC on May 13, 1934, to the late Clingman and Ollie Carraway Robinson. He retired from Penske Truck Leasing and was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Everett Robinson; children, Kathy Stevens (Roger), Dennis Robinson (Burma) and Michael Robinson (Misty); step-children, David and Sherrie; seven grandchildren including special grandson, Trevous Wyrick and several great grandchildren.
