Glenda Rose Presnell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Glenda Rose Presnell, 69, of Greensboro, North Carolina, formerly of Woolwine, Virginia. She passed away surrounded by her family on November 15, 2025, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. 

Born on October 15, 1956, to Glenn and Cynthia Crouse, Glenda was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Billy Presnell; her son, Dennis (Alyssa) of Greensboro; and her stepchildren, BJ (Samantha) of Greensboro and Beverly (Andrew) of Stokesdale, brothers, David (Rhonda) of Woolwine, VA, Gerald (Buffy) and Daryl.

Glenda was preceded in death by her siblings, Timmy (Patricia) of Greensboro, Ralph, and sister, Krista of Bryson City. 

Her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and siblings were the cornerstone of her life, and her love for them gave her the strength to persevere through many recent and ongoing health challenges.

Glenda served her country in the United States Army. She spent years in the culinary industry, cooking and serving many over the years. For the past 15 years, Glenda worked alongside her husband at their auto shop on Alamance Church Road, where her hard work and dedication were evident. She had built many great relationships through the years with her customers. However, her most cherished role was that of “Memom” to her 11-year-old grandson, Connor, whose bright smile and laughter filled her heart with joy.

Glenda will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her kindness, warmth, and love for her family will forever remain in our hearts. A private family service will be held at a later date.
