Mr. Harold Ray Harrald, II, 73, of Julian. Passed away on October 28, 2025.
A graveside service to honor Ray will be held at 10:00 am at Salisbury National Cemetery. The Randolph County Honor Guard will be rendering military honors.
Ray was born in Charleston, West Virginia on March 19, 1952, to George Harden Harrald (deceased) and Joan Hoskins Harrald. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1974. He served with Company D, 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 1St Marine Division Fleet Marine Force until his honorable discharge in 1978.
Ray was preceded in death by his father; a brother, William “Rusty” E. Rust, Jr. and two of his dogs, “Shivers” and “Tripod”.
Ray is survived by his mother, Joan Hoskins Harrald of Greensboro; his sister, Kathy Harrald also of Greensboro and his two puppies, “Phoebe” and “Penny”.
