Mrs. Helen Woodle Taylor, age 85, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025, at Magnolia Gardens Center in Thomasville, North Carolina.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00am Monday, December 29, 2025, at Lakeview Memorial Park, with Rev. Ron Kimble officiating the service. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mrs. Taylor was born, in Guilford County, to the late Charlie and Ola “Nancy” Henderson Woodle She was a very independent lady who loved and cherished her family. After jumping out of a airplane, she became known to everyone as a “daredevil”. She was also a member of Monnett Road Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband Winston Taylor, sister Diane Keene, and brother Stacy Woodle.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her children Tina Wall and husband Steve of Greensboro, Pat Taylor and wife Phyllis of Southport, NC, and Dwayne Taylor and wife Jennifer of Sneads Ferry, NC. Also surviving are five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
In honor of Helen’s life, memorial contributions may be directed to Monnett Road Baptist Church, 6033 Monnett Rd. Julian, NC 27283.
