Henry ("Rusty") Cardwell

Henry “Rusty” Cardwell, 64, of Trinity passed away Sunday May 11, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family.

A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later time.

Rusty was born in Thomasville to the late Henry and Barbara Cardwell. He was a graduate of Ledford Senior High School. He was employed with Custom Finishers in High Point for close to thirty years. He had eight grandchildren that he loved and spent as much time as he could with them. Rusty loved to work on anything with tires, especially motorcycles. He loved to travel anywhere there was a beach including most recently the Dominican Republic. Rusty loved to fish and once served as a fishing guide on Badin Lake.

Rusty is survived by his wife, Jessica Cardwell of the home; children, Brent Cardwell (Courtney) of Thomasville; Danielle Cardwell (Cody Amos) of Climax; Brantley Cardwell of the home; step-daughters, Gabrielle Bryant of the home and Kirsten Cervantes (Matthew) of Archdale; brother, Michael Cardwell of Thomasville; sister, Penny Wilson also of Thomasville; grandchildren, Isaac, Jacob, Kaley, Addy, Lucy, Ivey, Matt, and Nash.
