Henry Roosevelt Sweeney

Mr. Henry Roosevelt Sweeney, 73, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025 in Reidsville. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM Southeast Church of the Nazarene 4511 Southeast School Road Greensboro, NC 27406.

Mr. Sweeney was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Pauline Sweeney; and sister, Cindy Sweeney.

Henry was a man who enjoyed life, loved fishing, loved his family, had a big heart and was a loyal friend.  He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a carpenter by trade.

He is survived by his sons, Henry “Frankie” Sweeney, Jeff Sweeney, and Dwayne Sweeney; grandchildren, Brandon and Nicolas (Taylor); nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Ann and Jerry Wayne; and a host of other family members and friends whom he loved.
