Ila (Henley) Williams

Ms. Ila Henley Williams, 81, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Brookdale in Wilmington.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 11:00 am at Plainview Baptist Church with Pastor William Williard officiating.  Burial will follow at Rock Creek Baptist Church.

Ms. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Gary “Ronnie” Williams; son, Gary “Donnie” Williams; parents, Pete and Myrtle Ozment Henley; and siblings, Edna, Mary, Buck, Elsie, and C.W. Henley.

Ila was a loving mother and a hard worker.  She was a member of and enjoyed attending Plainview Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, David Williams; son, Scott Williams (Kelly); son, Phillip Williams; grandson, David “Nick” Williams; sister-in-law, Nancy Henley; and a host of nieces, nephews, family members, and friends whom she loved.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00-10:45 am at the church prior to the service.
