Irene (McGee) Rudisill

Irene McGee Rudisill, 93, of Greensboro passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Clapps Nursing Center in Pleasant Garden

A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, January 11, 2026 at George Brothers Funeral Service with Dr. Alton Cook officiating. Inurnment will be private at Gilmore Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Irene was born October 9, 1932, in Davidson County to the late Walter and Zella Mae McGee. She retired from the Greensboro School System and attended Sharpe Road Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William B. Rudisill, two sisters, a brother and one grandchild.

Survivors include sons, Steven M. Rudisill (Elaine) of Hartwell, GA, James A. Rudisill (Janet) of Jefferson and David W. Rudisill (Jill) of Yanceyville; four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
