Jackie Carl Springs

Pastor Jackie C. Springs went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday night, May 15, 2025 at Wesley Long Community Hospital.

A Celebration of Life service will be 2:00 pm Monday, May 26, 2025 at George Brothers Funeral Service. The family will receive friends following the service.

Jackie was born in Greensboro to the late Brandley and Doris Springs. He served as minister to Sonlight Baptist Church in Greensboro since 2011. He was a loving father, a wonderful husband and a wonderful grandfather.

Jackie is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Springs; children, Dustin Springs (Rebecca), B J Springs, Christine Gaynelle Elizabeth Springs (Henry), Valarie Mae Highsmith (Trevor, Jr.), Shania Faith Springs, Stephanie Rolla Renee Springs (Chase Williams), and Jonathen Dennis; grandchildren, Triniti Nevaeh Dennis, Keith Denzel Highsmith, Tamina Lillie Highsmith, Skylar Grace Williams, Khloe Aaliyah Springs, and Grace Gaynelle Rayne Justus.

Flowers are welcome, but memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with expenses or to Sonlight Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC.
