James Allen Mays

Mr. James “Chuck” Allen Mays, 68, of Greensboro, passed away on November 19, 2022.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 3, at Faith Wesleyan Church, 4425 Rehobeth Church Road, Greensboro, NC 27406.

James was born in Guilford County on June 12, 1954, to the late Jack N Matthews and June Ryan Mays. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Andrew Russell Mays and his brother, Robert Lee Mays. He was a member of Faith Wesleyan Church and formerly owned and operated Piedmont Janitorial Service in Greensboro. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy.

James is survived by his daughters, June Renee Mays and Tracy Michelle Mays and his grandchildren, Jared Mays and Tristan Mays.

The family will receive friends at the church following the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Wesleyan Church in memory of Chuck.
