Jamey Lee Smith

Mr. Jamey Lee Smith, 45, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025 at his home.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 25, 2025 at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Rick Chandler officiating.  Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Jamey was preceded in death by his mother, Becky Adams Smith; paternal grandparents, France and Ethel Smith; and maternal grandparents, Bill and Hannah Adams.

He was a 1998 graduate of Northeast Guilford High School and enjoyed hunting, fishing, firearms of all kinds, racing, brewing with his friends, and spending time with his family and friends at Roanoke Hunt Club.  He was a former employee of Joe Smith Masonry and Johnson Controls.

Jamey is survived by his father, Terry Smith (Angie); half-brother, Joey Meetze; step-brothers, Mark Shropshire (Chirsty) and Ricky Shropshire (Sarah); uncles, Tim Adams (Karen), Jimmie Smith (Pam), and Joe Smith (Anita); aunt, Mary Campbell; nieces and nephews, Paige, Kelsey, Samantha, Emily, and RJ; great nieces, Parker, Isabella, and Rosie; as well as numerous other family members and friends whom he loved.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:45-1:45 pm at George Brothers Funeral Service prior to the service.
