Jean Neese Berry

Jean Neese Berry, 74, passed away on January 10, 2022, at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro. She has acted as the best advocate out there for her son, daughter, family and all her patients through the years.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Jean was born in Guilford County on October 10, 1947, to the late Warren and Elaine Greeson Neese. Jean’s home church was Mt. Hope United Church of Christ. She was a retired pediatric nurse and was employed with Advanced Home Care and Kidspath of Greensboro. Her passion for children was displayed throughout her many years of caring for them.

Jean is survived by her children, Jimmy Sloop and spouse, Mandy and Joy Landers and spouse, Tim; grandchildren, Hayley Coley and Addie Sloop; her brother, Terry Neese and spouse, Sharon; sisters, Billie Grogan and spouse, Ken and Carmen Kriegsman and spouse, Mel; nephews, Mark and Richard Neese; niece, Kyla Grogan and a host of other loving family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any pediatric hospice or foundation for the hearing impaired.
