Jeffrey Estioko, 75, of Greensboro passed away peacefully Sunday, May 19, 2024 at AuthoraCare Collective’s Beacon Place.
There will be a private memorial service.
Jeff "Toko Toko" was born to Rosalia & Liberato Estioko on August 27th, 1948 at the Oahu Sugar Plantation hospital in Waipahu, HI. Growing up in Kaneohe, he was an astounding baseball player in his youth. As he grew, so did his passion of working on hotrods. Following high school graduation, Jeff enlisted into the United States Air Force. He became a fighter Crew Chief, and honorably served his country in Vietnam. After college, he went to work for Continental/United airlines and retired after roughly 45 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In his latter years, he proudly served as a Guardsman with the Randolph County Honor Guard providing military burial honors for veterans. A handyman, Jeff could fix anything and wouldn't hesitate to lend a hand when called upon. He was a humble and patient man. He found peace in nature and could find the positive and beauty in the world to appreciate. He enjoyed telling a good story and you could find him at any family Luau with a big plate in front of him.
He is survived by his wife, Susan, his children, Maurice (Anika), Makai (Kelsey), Micael (Jason), Hailey (Bill), JJ (Naja), and Courtney (Zackery) his 17 grandchildren, his mother, Rose, and his brothers, Albert (Liz) and Vernon.
Jeff was beloved by many, always had a smile on his face and a laugh to share. He will truly be missed and his memory will live on, A Hui Hou.
