Jennifer Burgess

Jennifer Burgess, 42, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at the High Point Hospice house. She was surrounded by her loving family following a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Ollis; her grandparents Leo and Helen Pass; her uncle, MB Johnson; and her cousin, Sherry Van Rheen.

Jennifer was a kind and loving person who always took care of those around her. She loved to help people and truly had a heart of gold. Jennifer enjoyed crafts, drawing, coloring, and creating artwork. She also enjoyed all kinds of music, the beach, and planting flowers. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her boys and her husband who were her world.

She is survived by her husband, Chris Burgess; her sons, Christian Dodson, Ian Dodson, and Devin Burgess; her parents, Linda Johnson and Johnny Ollis; also surviving are many very special friends and family who will miss her deeply.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and also at 6206 Clarkwood Cir. Greensboro, NC 27410.

Memorial contributions can be directed to charities dedicated to finding the cure for cancer.
