Jessica Jean Plummer Chambers, 46, passed away peacefully February 10, 2025 at Wesley Long Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 4:00 pm at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Mike Barkley officiating.
She was preceded in death by her mother Sylvia Jean Plummer and Father Robert Plummer; and brother Bobby Garland Plummer.
She is survived by two brothers, Robert Chuck Plummer (Theresa) and Kenneth Plummer; two beautiful children, Tristan Gage (Rain) and Carly Madison; two amazing grandchildren, Fraeya Rhiannon, and Rage Odin; she also leaves behind several nieces and nephews that she cherished and loved deeply. Even sharing a birthday with her first niece.
Jessica was born July 14, 1978 in Guilford County. She attended Southern Guilford High School where she met JD Chambers who was father to both children and become lifelong friends. Jessica grew up simple with chickens and rabbits. She lived close to many childhood friends and so many days after school she would show them to her “farm”, sometimes even giving away the chickens. That sums up who she was as a person. She would take things that weren’t actually hers and then gift them to others. Jessica and life itself were in a race for a long time. Sometimes she was ahead, sometimes she fell back. There were times she caught up to life and times life caught up to her. Jessica lived her life freely and unapologetically to most. She loved her family and it was shown by what she kept hidden. She left space for others to remember her as she was when you met her. She was free, happy and beautiful and will be missed very deeply.
The family will receive friends from 2:30-4:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
