Joan Carol (Nunn) Lewis

Joan Carol Nunn Lewis, 75, of Pleasant Garden, passed away on January 12, 2026.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 16, 2026, at George Brothers Funeral Service. The burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Joan was born on June 26, 1950, in Guilford County, to the late Joseph and Parkie Nunn. She was retired from Blumenthal Nursing Home and was a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Christopher Lewis (Wendy), Shawn Lewis (Tabitha), Candy Stogner (Howard) and Phillip Lewis (Debbie); brother, Richard Nunn; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Wayne Lewis and sister-in-law, Gaynell Nunn.
