Joseph Harvard Tuttle, Jr.

Joseph Harvard Tuttle, Jr, 76, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at The Park at Sharon Amity in Charlotte, NC, from pancreatic cancer.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 30, 2021 at George Brothers Funeral Service. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mr. Tuttle was born September 9, 1945 in Guilford Co to the Joseph Harvard Tuttle and Florence Caroline Crenshaw Tuttle

Joe graduated from Southeast High School and Gastonia Technology Institue, with a degree in engineering.  He worked for E.I. Dupont de Nemours & Compant for 39 years as a designer/engineer. His hobby was designing and building furniture.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Harvard Tuttle, Sr.

Survivors include his mother, Florence C. Tuttle; daughters, Tonya LaFrance, Angie Burnette Kent) and Katie McGowan; 2 sisters, Gloria Jean Pharr and Rebecca May; and 5 grandchildren.

Joe will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
