Joseph "Joe" Samuel Parsons

Joseph “Joe” Parsons, Jr., 67, died Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Westchester Manor.

A graveside service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Guilford Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 6:00pm - 8:00pm Friday, September 27, 2024 at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Mr. Parsons was born October 6, 1956 in Guilford County to the late Joseph Samuel Parsons, Sr. and Nettie Linville Parsons.  He earned an Associates Degree from GTCC and was a long time employee of Wrangler/VF.  He loved to go fishing in his spare time.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother James Allen Parsons.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Germaine Parsons; daughter, Emily Parsons; sons, Joseph Parsons III (Ally), and Jacob Parsons (Abigail); grandchildren, KJ Hawkins, Theo Parsons, and Elliana Parsons; and sister, Ann Fields.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Old Southwest Nursing Facility in Roanoke, Va, and the staff at Westchestor Manor for the excellent care and support given to Joe.
