Josie Meads Forrest

Josie Meads Forrest went to her long awaited Heavenly home on October 26, 2024.

Josie was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Jackie Homer Forrest and by her second husband, Rev Richard Rinker.

She was part of a family of eight siblings.

She left behind one daughter, Sundie Forrest Bisher (Dwight); step daughters, Cindy Rinker (Brian Henley) and Sharon Johnson (Joey); three grandchildren, Keith Bisher (Lisa), Kristina Bisher Knoll (Rich), and Karmen Bisher Staton (Mason) and two great grandchildren, Jett Staton and Niko Staton

In lieu of flowers donations may be made the AuthoraCare Collective of Greensboro.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at George Brothers Funeral Service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.
