Juanita Pegram Robinson

Juanita Pegram Robinson, age 94, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday April 8, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday at Southside Baptist Church, with Dr. Howard McNeil and Rev. Steve Walsh officiating the service, with visitation beginning at 1:00pm.  She will be laid to rest alongside her husband Roy Talmadge Robinson at Guilford Memorial Park.

Juanita was a very strong independent women who had one of the most generous hearts of anyone I know.  She loved doing for others and many benefited from her generosity and from her love of baking.  Pecan pies, lemon pound cakes, and friendship cakes were some of her specialties.  If she knew you, you probably were one of the many that was on her “birthday list” and she tried diligently not to forget your special day in some way or another.  She will be truly missed, and we loved her dearly! 

Juanita was born in Guilford County to the late George and Phebe Henley Pegram.  She employed as a designer in clothing and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Ronnie Springs, his wife Barbara Springs, and her granddaughter Jenny Springs; stepdaughters Linda Hemric and Joann Amos.

She is survived by her stepdaughter Donna Ricketts (Don); daughter Virginia Lloyd; grandchildren Brandi Springs, Justin Ricketts (Alisha), Tyler Ricketts (Holly), Stephanie Steed (Kenny), Teresa Vogler (Tim), Marty Amos (Julie) and Lisa Laine; special niece Susan Bozovich (Charles) along with several other nieces and nephews; Also surviving are many loving great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to Dr. Robert Gates and AuthoraCare of Greensboro (Hospice) for the compassionate care that was given to Juanita.
