Judith "Judy" Carroll Sutphin

Judith “Judy” Carroll Sutphin, 70, of Elon, passed away October 11, 2018, at her home.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Tom Bolin officiating. The burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Judith was born November 6, 1947, in Rockingham County. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, PFC Ernest Harold Sutphin and Masey Faye Sutphin.

She is survived by her children, Jackie Piggott, April Sutphin, William Sutphin, and Faye Fields Pennell (Darrell); her ex husband and best friend of 50 years, Sherman Sutphin; sister, Christine Bowman; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 6-8:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home and other times at Faye & Darrell’s residence, 7232 Hwy 61 N, Gibsonville, NC 27249.
