Karen Michelle (Douthart) Hastings

Mrs. Karen Michelle Douthart Hastings, 58, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at her home with her family by her side.

A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Mrs. Hastings was preceded in death by her father, Robert Douthart.

Karen loved to spend her time crocheting, gardening, canning, antiquing, attending rock concerts, camping, RVing, spending time in the pool, being at the beach, and watching Ghosthunters.  She was most thrilled to learn there was a channel devoted 24 hours to the show.  She was of the Scottish Clan Mackay and most loved being “NiNi” to Holden.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Hastings; sons, Taylor Horner (Vittoria) and Greyson McClung; grandchild, Holden; mother, Shelley Miller; siblings, Chuck Douthart (Jo), Jennifer Bean (Scott), Katherine Townson, and Nathan Douthart; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends whom she loved.
