Kassidy Lynn Hazelwood

Kassidy Lynn Hazelwood, age 30, passed away Friday September 5, 2025, in Greensboro.

A funeral service will be held 11:00am Friday at George Brothers Funeral Service with visitation beginning at 9:00am.  Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

A native of Guilford County, Kassidy was born to her mother Wendy Shelton Hazelwood and father Michael Hazelwood.  She was a graduate of Grimsley High School and received her associate degree, as a Medical Assistant, at Guilford Technical Community College. She was employed with Guilford Medical Associates, spending time at the beach, but most of all loving on her daughter and family.

Kassidy was preceded in death by her grandmother Michelle Brake and grandfather Johnny Shelton.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter Laylah Maness and her father Tyler Maness; sister Kaitlyn Hazelwood; three aunts Angie Shelton, Melissa Hazelwood, and Kristy Hazelwood; uncle Brian Hazelwood; grandmother Barbara Shelton; grandfather Buddy Brake. Also surviving are numerous cousins, great cousins, and extended family members.

Kassidy was loved by all who knew her.
