Kathy Dyrene (Watkins) Lamascus

Kathy Dyrene Watkins Lamascus, 75, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024 at her home in Gibsonville.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Andrews Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Tom Bowling officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ms. Lamascus was preceded in death by her parents, Halton and Garnell Watkins; children, Janice Kinlaw and Tommy Neal, Jr.; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters.

Kathy truly loved and enjoyed her family.  She loved to spend her time just sitting and enjoying being outside at her home and at the beach, and spending her time with her dog, “Charlie”.  She was a long-time member of Andrews Memorial Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Shawn Lamascus (Heather); grandchildren, Holly, Alaena, Alyssa, Alivia, and Isaac; great-grandchildren, Maddie and Noah; sister, Sandra Williams; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends whom she loved.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:45-1:45 pm at the church prior to the service.
