Kenneth Ezra Faucette, Jr., 76, of Pleasant Garden, passed peacefully April 8, 2024 at 7:25 am at Randolph Hospice House.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm prior to the service at George Brothers Funeral Service.
A native of Randolph County, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ezra Faucette, Sr.
He survived his late, beloved wife of 29 years, Helen, who passed December 2, 2023.
Kenny is survived by his brother, Rick Faucette, of Bolivia NC; his nephew, Daniel Faucette of Asheboro; children, Brenda Carol Reed, Larry, Thomas Ray May, the late Drema May, and Martin Odom May, Selena; seven grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
He went to the School of the Blind in Raleigh, where he met Ronnie Milsap. Some others Kenny met along the way were, Richard Petty, and attorney Rufus Edmondsun. He went to work for Industries of the Blind, where he met Helen, and retired after 43 years. Kenny had a great love for Nascar and going on road trips with his wife. They loved all their four-legged babies, but his most cherished was Daisy, a beagle.
