Kenneth Ray Kennedy

Mr. Kenneth Ray Kennedy, age 77, passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 29, 2021 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, January 5, at George Brothers Funeral Service.  Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park with military rites given by Randolph County Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends from 1:00pm-2:00pm Wednesday at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Mr. Kennedy was born in Moore County to the late Raymond and Zelma Arnold Kennedy. He proudly served his country in the United States Army while serving in the Vietnam War, and was the owner and operator of Kennedy’s Home Improvement.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Elaine Kennedy; stepfather Graham “Tiny” Brigman; brother Eugene Kennedy.

Kenneth is survived by his children Margaret Pratt (Gerald) and Catherine Hilali; sisters Marie Cole (Johnny), Mary Bailey, and Shelia Lott; brothers Leroy Kennedy and Frankie Brigman (Beverly).  Also surviving are his grandchildren Kayla, Naomi Pratt, and Cheyenne Dunn; great-grandson Wyatt Newton.
