Kenneth Frank, “Kenny Carty, 77, went Home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, July 7, 2025 at Wesley Long Memorial Hospital.
Kenny was born July 14, 1947 to Frank (Sam) Carty, a purple heart recipient in WWII, to his loving Mama, Ruth. He was a man of honor, a Vietnam Veteran, 1967-1968. He was in military Intelligence, Army Security Agency (ASA) a Spook. He wore many hats in his lifetime, from bagging groceries to meat cutter, and serving four years in the US Army. He drove an eighteen wheeler for Thomas Produce two years before going on to bigger things. He studied at GTCC and received computer training and went from sales clerk to parts manager, and on to becoming a Regional Credit Manager at Rental Service Corporation for thirty one years. But his biggest joy in life was his family. He and Inez were married over fifty eight years, and enjoyed bringing up two beautiful children, Gary and Jesse. He was the best, fun loving husband and Daddy. He loved his Lord and followed in Jesus’ footsteps, calling on Him during his sleep as he left this world to be with them.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Frank, (Sam) Carty and Mama, Ruth
Carty, Son, Gary Carty and a brother Marty Carty.
Survivors are his loving wife Betsy “Inez”, daughter, Jesse Carty, sisters, Gilda Barley (Tody), Dreama Anderson (Neal), Angela Kenan, (John), and brother, Eric. Also his Mama Polly, Jenny, Ronnie, Gloria and Boyd from marriage.
The family will receive friends at George Brothers Funeral Service Thursday night, July 10, 6-8 pm. The funeral there will be Friday, July 11 at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
His Pastor Brian Clark from Grace Life Church will be officiating the service.
