Ktu, born on October 26, 1948, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, surrounded by his family.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Ktu is survived by his loving wife, Krem Ka; his children, Ktam, Ktin, Krim, Ktoan, and Huyen; his cherished grandchildren, Angelina, Athena, Morgan, Stella, Elliana, Theo, and Liam; and his son and daughter in-laws, Nhu, Thiv, and Maria. He was preceded in death by his parents, KGlok and Ka Nhe; his siblings, Ka Nhem, Ktai and Ktieu; and his beloved daughter, Ka Kris.
Ktu lived a remarkable life of resilience and courage. He served as an interpreter and the District Deputy Chief of Bao Loc during the Vietnam War. This role placed him in great danger, but also allowed him to serve with honor. After the war, he endured the hardships of the Viet Cong concentration camps, surviving with a spirit of strength and grit that would define his life. In 1995, he and his family immigrated to the United States, where he worked tirelessly to build a new life, guided by his dedication to family and hope for future generations.
Ktu will be remembered for his quiet strength, his wisdom, and his enduring love for his family. His legacy will live on in the lives of his children and grandchildren, who carry forward the lessons of perseverance and love that he so deeply embodied.
A Prayer Service to honor his life will be held at George Brothers Funeral Service on 10.03.2025 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm and a Funeral Service will be held from 10.04.2025 12:00pm-until.
