Kyoo Ja "Linda" Nickel

Kyoo Ja “Linda” Nickel, of Kernersville, NC, passed away Friday, June 14, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Nickel, Sr. who served in the US Army.

Linda is survived by her children, daughter Toni Ball (Steve), daughter Carol Caraballo (Rei), daughter Karen Rotondo (Sam), and son Robert Nickel, Jr. (Diane); grandchildren; Shawn Eisenbach, Christine Ciancio, Jennifer Nickel, Ray Nickel, Tiffany Nickel, Kaitlyn Nickel, Sam Rotondo, Christopher Rotondo,  and Helen Rotondo; multiple great-grandchildren; and her longtime friend and companion Michael Harper.

Linda was a homemaker who dedicated her life to her family. She loved to laugh and joke and was a wonderful cook. Anyone who met Linda would always remember her. She was a petite lady with a huge heart who always put everyone before herself.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am-1:00pm, and 5:00pm-7:00pm on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at George Brothers Funeral Service. Graveside service will be held at 4:00pm on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Westminster Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, located at 3601 Whitehurst Rd. in Greensboro.
