Larry Edward Norton Jr., 48, of Greensboro, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
A memorial gathering to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at George Brothers Funeral Service from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m.
Larry was born on September 8, 1976 in West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Susan M. Hundley and Larry E. Norton Sr.; and his beloved dog, Vader.
He is survived by his daughters, Brandy Norton (Justin) and Kaitlynn Norton (Henry); his sister, Amy Norton; and his niece and nephew, Cassidy Fore and Bruce Martin.
Larry was a hard-working man who loved the outdoors. He was a skilled carpenter that took pride in every project he worked on. He had a big heart and adored his two daughters more than anything in the world. His girls were his pride and joy.
Larry was always cracking jokes and had a personality that made him easy to be around. He never turned down a good conversation—especially if it involved the latest conspiracy theory.
In his younger days, he was passionate about dirt bike racing, heavy metal music and was often referred to as “the life of the party”. Larry always had a deep love for music and was extremely talented playing the guitar.
He was a strong-willed man who stood firmly for what he believed in. He was bold, genuine, never afraid to be himself or speak his mind. Larry will be remembered for his strength, his passion, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew him.
