Larry Devon Welborn

Larry Devon Welborn, born March 31, 1944 to Lamon and Dot Welborn, passed away February 8, 2026 at Moses Cone Hospital surrounded by his family.

Larry was owner/operator of Welborn’s Lawn Service for 50 years. His 2 favorite pastimes were going to Ace Speedway and watching Gunsmoke.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved dog, Baby Girl.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dianne Welborn. He is survived by his siblings Glenda McGinnis, Kathy Harrison, Ronnie Welborn (Jan), Myra Massaroni and Robin McClamma (Dave). He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at Faith Baptist Church 3106 S. Holden Road in Greensboro, NC 27407 on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 1:00pm with visitation to follow afterwards.
