Lois Ruth (Nichols) Freeman

Mrs. Lois Ruth Nichols Freeman, 84, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 2:00 pm at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Daniel Absher officiating.  Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.

Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Pearl Nichols; and brothers, Bobby and Tommy Nichols.

Lois loved spending time with her family.  She loved her flower beds, gardening, and working in and keeping her yard in pristine shape.  She loved all of her dogs throughout the years.  She was a “social butterfly” who never met a stranger, loved all of her neighbors, and cared for anyone she could including children and the elderly.  She loved to spend her time camping, going to the beach, and fishing, as well as eating fish as often as she could.

Lois is survived by her husband of 66 years, Larry Freeman; daughter, Tina Allred (Mitch); daughter, Thressa Webb (Keith); daughter, Ruth Ann Freeman; grandchildren, Brandon, Sky, Mia, Joey, Dillon, Carson, Zackery, Celeste, Tyler, and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Emery, Eloise, Hallie, Stella, and Eli; sisters, Lucy Ward, Mary Lou Ray, and Bernice Jones (Kenneth); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends whom she loved.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service.
