Louise (Hilliard) Jarrett

Louise Hilliard Jarrett, age 90, of Randleman, NC died peacefully at Randolph Memorial Hospital on June 21st, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanford "Jerry" Jarrett and her Parents, Samuel Marcus & Mary Elizabeth Hilliard. She was the youngest of 10 children.

She leaves one daughter, Cynthia Jarrett Justice and one grandson, Jerry Ray Jarrett and his wife Debbie.

She enjoyed and honorably served as a Member of the Order of the Eastern Star Guilford Chapter 141 and Chapter 14 for 60 years. She was a member of the White Shrine and a member of the Odd Fellows. She was a Worthy Matron of Guilford Chapter 141 and she sat on all five points of the Star. Louise was an avid bingo player and was called The Bingo Queen at the American Legion Post 53. She retired from Southland Music after 44 years. She opened and closed the business, she was the Boss.  She loved watching preaching on Sunday mornings and listening to the Gaithers sing.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm on Friday, June 24, 2022, at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Brett Seawell officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Louise loved watching Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Little People, Big World, Dr. Pimple Popper, and her favorite movie Gone with the Wind which she had watched more than 100 times. She loved watching tennis, bowling and on occasion a Nascar race with her grandson.

Her family would like to thank the nurses at Randolph Hospital fourth floor, for the care they gave our mom and grandma. We would also like to thank Randolph Medical Assoc., Greensboro Wound Ctr and Encompass Home health for the love and care they gave her.
