Lovine Goodman Obituary
Mrs. Lovine Jones Goodman, age 94, passed away Saturday January 29, 2023 at the Carriage House in Greensboro.
A memorial service will be held 1:00pm Saturday, February 4, at Community Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Calhoun officiating the service. The family will receive friends beginning at 12 noon at the church.
Mrs. Goodman was born in Mt. Olive, NC to the late Noah and Frankie Napier Jones. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and baking pies. She retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company with over forty years of service.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Foye Lee Goodman, Sr; sons Foye Lee “Buddy” Goodman, Jr. and David Allen Goodman.
She is survived by her daughter Martha Dunne (Edward); daughter-in-law Gloria Goodman; grandchildren Jennifer Dunne (Leah Fahringer), Amber Goodman Cox (Jeffrey Cox), and Lee Winfree (Penny Winfree); great-grandchildren Julianna Winfree, Jillian Winfree, and Jackson Schultz.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Community Chapel Baptist Church, 3501 Ravendale Dr. Greensboro, NC 27406.
