Lucille Hill Weekley, 91 years old, went to her heavenly home on December 18, 2025. Lucille lived a long and happy life. She was born on May 2, 1934 to the late Sloane Matthews Hill and Robert Howard Hill, Sr.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years Robert “Bob” Weekley. Also six siblings, Ruby Leonard, Katie Hill, Bob Hill, Nancy Crabtree, Shelby Hill and David Hill.
Lucille is survived by her six children, Tim Weekley (Ramona), Craig Weekley (Annie), Sharon Weekley Wright (Bill), Keith Weekley, Cindy Weekley Apple (Todd), Denise Weekley Shelley (Eric); ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren. What a legacy! She is also survived by two brothers, Jim and Eddie Hill.
Lucille retired from Wesley Long Hospital after 22 years as Payroll Clerk. She was in fellowship at Shannon Hills Bible Chapel serving her Lord and Savior in a Womens Prayer Group, assisting with Vacation Bible School and at Mountain Top Youth Camp. She will be remembered for her sweet and loyal friendship to those who knew her. Lucille had a generous heart, touching many lives, always striving to make others happy.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Shannon Hills Bible Chapel, with Pastor Mark Shelley officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 10:00 until 10:45 am.
