Lynn Marie Williams, 75, of Greensboro, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026.
Born on February 4, 1951, in Bethesda, Maryland, Lynn was the daughter of Elizabeth Sutoris and James Benjamin. She built a career as a Realtor in both Florida and Greensboro, but her greatest joy was always found in the people she loved.
Lynn loved the beach, traveling, and especially visiting her children and grandchildren, many of whom lived abroad for several years. No matter where life took her, she brought warmth, kindness, and optimism with her. She was known for her cheerful spirit, gentle nature, and ability to make others feel welcome. One close friend once remarked that “no one could help but like Lynn.”
Even in the final chapter of her life, while living in memory care, Lynn’s spirit remained unmistakably her own. Though Alzheimer’s gradually took much from her, it never took away her gentle heart. The aides affectionately gave her the nickname “Smiling Lynn,” a reflection of the sweetness and warmth she continued to share with those around her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Allan Williams; her daughter, Tracey Leigh Moraczewski and husband Joshua Moraczewski; her son, Keith Williams and wife Cassandra Workman; her brother, Steven James Benjamin and wife Deborah; nephew Reed Benjamin; nieces Lisa Reagle and Lindsay Capland; and her beloved grandchildren Sophia, Julian, Jonah, and Jacob Moraczewski, and Damian and Elijah Williams.
A private Celebration of Life will be held with family and close friends to honor and remember Lynn and the love she shared so freely throughout her life.
