Margaret Irene (Rumley) Parks

Mrs. Margaret Rumley Parks, went Home to be with The Lord peacefully on May 5, 2023.

Funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Lankford Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will be private at Lakeview Memorial Park.

She was a magnificent wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. As a long time member of Lankford Memorial Baptist Church, she was active in the choir and taught Sunday School. She was always happiest in her yard and garden and loved her flowers, birds, and deer that came to visit often. She was 97 years old and always had a kind word, open heart, and loving hands. She will surely be missed by all who knew her.

She is finally reunited with her family in Heaven including her late husband, Harvey Parks, daughter Patricia Parks McAdoo, and grandson, Stephen McAdoo.

She is survived by her grandson, Kevin McAdoo and wife, Katy; Norma McAdoo (wife of grandson, Stephen); great-grandchildren, Dakotah Moore, Travis McAdoo, Jeffrey Moore, Micah Moore, Michaela Moore, and Kali McAdoo; and great-great grandchildren, Henry Moore, Benjamin Moore, and Logan McAdoo.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 PM Saturday prior to the service at the church.
