Margaret Ann (Martin) Wright

Margaret Ann Martin Wright, 89, of Greensboro, NC left this world to meet Jesus on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at her home with her sons by her side. 

Funeral will be 1:00 PM  Monday, November 25, 2024 at George Brothers Funeral Home in Greensboro. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park, 6000 W. Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27407.

The family will receive friends from 12-12:45 PM Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Margaret was born on April 30, 1935, in Wake County, NC to the late Marvin Lee Martin and “Bessie” Estelle Daniels Martin.  She loved her family, friends, and Jesus.  She enjoyed traveling and going to church. She was a member of Gate City Baptist Church in Jamestown. 

Along with her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene “Gene” Wright; sons, Thomas Eugene Wright and Baby Boy Wright; siblings Charles Edward Martin and Peggy Jo Martin; and her beloved dog, Buddy.  Margaret also leaves behind very special friends whom she spent a lot of time with and loved dearly.

Margaret is survived by her sons Ronnie Wright (Bunny) of Archdale, Greg Wright (Daphne) of Greensboro, and Steve Wright of High Point; ten grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
