Marvin Eugene True

Mr. Marvin Eugene True, age 77, passed away Thursday March 16, 2023.

 A Celebration of Life service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, April 15, at George Brothers Funeral Service.

 Mr. True was a native of Greensboro NC. Where he continued to live throughout his life as Greensboro was his beloved city. He served twenty-six years with Southern Foods, Inc. Marvin was also a proud truck driving instructor as well. Marvin was a self-educated man that had no limits. His passions were everything from woodworking to building computers. He loved dogs and never lived a moment without owning one. Marvin was an America first Patriot. He was never ashamed of his love for the country and always backed the military and the blue.

 Marvin is survived by his wonderful wife of fifty-five years Edith Ann True of Greensboro; Children Patty Myers, Tami True, Kenny True, and Wendy True; sisters Peggy Hicks, Nancy Overman, and Brenda Douglas. Also surviving are six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Marvin accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior, and this was his finest achievement in life. He will be missed, although we will see him again.
