Mary Austin Dean

Mary Austin Dean, 100, passed away on May 11, 2021, at Clapps Nursing Center.

A graveside service will be held at Westminster Gardens at 2:00 pm on Saturday, with Reverend Cecil Donahue officiating.

Mary was born in Hope, Arkansas on December 2, 1920, to the late Moses and Minnie Townsend Austin. She was a longtime member of Center United Methodist Church. She loved gardening, cooking, and most of all spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Calvin Dean and her son, Samuel Franklin Dean.

Mary is survived by her children; daughter, Louise Dean Crider; son, George William Dean (Becky); son, James Robert Dean (Betty); daughter-in-law, Dawn Dean; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm on Thursday at George Brothers Funeral Service
