Mary E. (Bolling) Long

Mary E. Long, 81, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Beacon Place with her family by her side.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at George Brothers Funeral Service from 3:00-5:00 pm.

Ms. Long was preceded in death by her parents, John and Eula Bolling; daughter, Risa Dawn Murray; and first husband, Ralph Summerlin.

Mary loved to watch NASCAR and golf, always pulling for Dustin Johnson.  She loved to spend her time bowling, collecting frogs, and watching birds.  She had a special love for all animals and was extremely close to her dog Lilly.

She is survived by her son, Ralph Summerlin, II (Helen); son, Scott Summerlin (Michelle); grandchildren, Sean, Drew, Ashley, Jesse, and Joe; five great-grandchildren; as well as many friends and family whom she loved.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to be made to your local Humane Society or your local Hospice.
