Mary Sue (Johnson) Sheets

Mary Sue Johnson Sheets, 76, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025 at the Burlington Hospice Home.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Monnett Road Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Vance officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Towe Memorial Baptist Church in Whitsett.

Mary was the life of the party, was very sociable,  and she never met a stranger.  She loved to crochet, sew, do all sorts of crafts, and scroll through social media at all times of the day and night.  She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was a member of Monnett Road Baptist Church.

Ms. Sheets was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Landon Sheets; twin-sister, Barbara Johnson; sisters, Catherine and Ruth Ann Johnson; brother, Richard Johnson; and grandson, Bradley Daniels.

She is survived by her children, Sabrina Daniels, Michelle Cox (Stacy), and Wade Harden (Christine); grandchildren, Katie Daniels, Landon Williams, Olivia Daniel, Christopher Harden, and Anthony Puckett; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Harry Pink Johnson (Rachel); and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends whom she loved.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00-12:45 pm prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a memorial donation to your local Hospice Home.
