Mary Jane (Worley) Siler

Mary Jane Worley Siler passed away peacefully Thursday, September 11, 2025, following complications of a rare benign brain tumor. 

 A gathering of friends for remembrance will be held Sunday, September 21, from 2 to 4 pm at George Brothers Funeral Service, 803 Greenhaven Drive, Greensboro.

She is survived by her brother C. Wesley Worley, Jr of Statesville, NC.  She was the daughter of Charles Wesley Worley, Sr. and Jane Mills Worley who predeceased her along with her brother, William C. Worley and former husband, Steve Siler.

Mary was a graduate of Statesville High School in Statesville. She attended x-ray school at Mitchell Community College in Statesville, NC. She had a long and very successful career as a CT tech at various medical clinics including Sun Health Mobile, Diagnostic Radiology & Imaging, UNC Burlington Imaging, and a part-time career at Urgent Medical & Family Care in Greensboro.

She enjoyed her pups, riding her motorcycle, kayaking, the coast, art & music. She excitedly told many stories of her family & friends, leaving out no details.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff North Pointe of  Asheboro for the care given to Mary over the last 1 1/2 years.
