Michael Shane Harris

Michael Shane Harris, 58, of Greensboro died August 13, 2025 at his residence.

Funeral will be 2:00 PM Thursday, August 21, 2025 at George Brothers Funeral Service with burial to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Shane graduated from Southeast Guilford High School, Class of '85. He was a dedicated member of Bethany Baptist Church for more than twenty-five years. Shane was an avid supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, UNC Tar Heels basketball, and Ric Flair. Additionally, he was part of the Early Bird Group focused on recovery.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Ray and Judy Cox Harris.

Shane is survived by his brothers, Tim Harris and Kip Harris (Kaye); nieces, Megan Marie Mosley, Amanda Catherine Harris, and Kasey Rae Harris; great nieces and great nephews, Kallie Grace Mosley, Noah Dean Mosley, Oliver Drake Bell, Conner Ray Mosley, and Karlie Irene Mosley.

The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
