Moir L Cahill

Moir L. Cahill, 90, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.

He was born August 14, 1935, in Henry County, Virginia to the late George Everett Cahill and Lillian Helms Cahill. He was a member of Pleasant Garden Baptist Church in Pleasant Garden, NC and a retired Instructor of Randolph Community College in Asheboro.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Clyde D. Cahill and Isaac E. Cahill; and sisters, Eva Webb, Nellie Schurkens and Jewel Cahill.

Surviving is his wife of 68 years, Cordie Barley Cahill of the home; two sons, Lane D. Cahill and his wife, Tracy of Pleasant Garden and Mark L. Cahill and his wife, Arlynn of Las Vegas, Nevada; brother, Jesse D. Cahill of Collinsville, Virginia; and four grandchildren, Taylor, Davis, Kyndal and Heather; great granddaughters, Aurora and Azayla; and great grandson, Seth.

In honoring Moir’s wishes, the family has chosen to mourn the loss of their loved one privately.
