Mr. Allen Dale Hunt, Sr.

Mr. Allen Dale Hunt, of Greensboro North Carolina, was born July 11, 1975, in Guilford County North Carolina. He departed this life August 21, 2023, making his journey of 48 years.

He was preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Hunt, sister Roxann Hunt and nephew Isaiah Hunt.

He is survived by his wife Melissa Hunt of the home; Father Billy Hunt of liberty NC; Son Allen Dale Hunt Jr (AJ) (fiancée Alissa)  of Hope mills NC; Brother Delton Hunt (Francis Hunt) of liberty NC; stepchildren Andrew (Hdiep) Hazelwood of Greensboro NC; Michelle Hazelwood (Dean) of Greensboro, NC; grandchildren Kaylee, Dakota, Tylen, Lily, Hayden, and Mylah.  Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and a long list of aunts and uncles.

 Allen loved to grill and host pool parties for his grandchildren and family, play pool and fish with his daddy, take his boat on the lake for the day, go on vacations with his wife, attended many concerts, loved his friends and family and was always there for them and never missed the chance to watch a good sunset.

A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Sunday at George Brothers Funeral Service, with burial to follow at Gilmore Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 6:00pm – 8:00pm Saturday at George Brothers Funeral Service.
