Mr. Ben Smith

Mr. Ben Smith, age 34, went home to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday June 24, 2020 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Ben was a loving husband, father, and son.  He enjoyed playing instruments and singing gospel music with his family and playing golf with his friends.  He was employed with Duke Energy, and a faithful member of Gospel Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife Cynthia Smith; son Jackson Smith; parents Benny and Deborah Smith; father and mother-in-law Joe and Tina Wisniewski; sisters Crystal Ward and Heather Lamascus; grandparents Lina Cockman and Juanita Smith; great-grandmother Louise Cason.

A celebration of life service will be 3:00pm Sunday at Gospel Baptist Church, 5945 N. Church St.  Greensboro, NC  27455.  The family will receive friends following the service.  Due to corona-19 virus, please be advised to wear a mask or a type of face covering to the service.  The service will be live streamed on Facebook at Gospel Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the donor’s choice.
