Mr. Charles Eugene Sweeney, Sr.

Mr. Charles Eugene Sweeney, Sr., age 64, passed away Monday August 13, 2018 at Moses Cone Hospital.

A funeral service will be 3:00 pm Friday at George Brothers Funeral Service.  Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.

Charles was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  He was an awesome man, who was loved by all who knew him.  He had a passion of working on small engines and tinkering outside in his building.

He is survived by his wife, of 41 years, Karen Clapp Sweeney; son Charles Eugene Sweeney, Jr. and wife Paula of Greensboro; daughter Stephanie Dawn Padilla and husband Eddie of High Point; grandson Jacob Eugene Sweeney of Trinity; great-granddaughter Lainey Sweeney of Trinity.  Also surviving are five sisters, and four brothers.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm-8:00pm Thursday at George Brothers Funeral Service.
