Obituary

Mr. George Lee Mitchell, age 63, passed away at High Point Regional Hospital on Saturday June 11, 2022.

A graveside service will be 10:00 am Thursday at Guil-Rand Memorial Park.

George loved spending time with his family, especially with his two grandchildren.  He attended Community Baptist Church and spent many of his working years in the furniture industry.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty years Polly Mitchell of Thomasville; sons Jack Mitchell of Thomasville and Robert Mitchell (Rachael) of Archdale; brother Virgil Mitchell of West Virginia. Also surviving are his two grandchildren Jackson Mitchell and Ella Grace Mitchell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Ronald McDonald House of Winston-Salem 419 S. Hawthorne Rd. Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
