Mr. John Wesley Coble

Mr. John Wesley Coble, age 79, passed away Thursday July 25, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

A private graveside service, with military honors, will be held at the Coble Family Cemetery with Rev. Tim Stevens officiating the service.  The family will receive friends, following the service, at the residence beginning at 1:00pm Monday.

Mr. Coble was born, in Guilford County, to the late Zeb and Inez Holt Coble.   He was employed as a welder and was a veteran of the United States Army while serving in the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Ruth Willetts and Helen Woosley.

He is survived by his loving wife Shirley Overman Coble; daughters Melissa Coble Hunt (Perry) and Karen Coble Crabtree (Keith); sister Joan Coble, Mary Long, and Sandra Booth; grandsons Jonathan Coble (Nikki), Lane Nickles, Mason Nickles, and Cole Nickles; great-granddaughter Destiny Coble.
